Pool shelter PANAMA
The PANAMA pool enclosure offers your home a room of its own to enjoy your pool in summer and winter.
Our classic PANAMA pool enclosure is designed to withstand a snow load of up to 60kg/m2. In its standard version, the PANAMA model is composed of “x” sliding elements (depending on the length of the pool), 1 fixed element, 1 accordion front and 1 fixed front.
Realization of the PANAMA pool enclosure
The PANAMA can be made with straight sides (also called “3 angles”) or with cut sides (also called “5 angles”) as an option. This model can be leaned against a wall (leaned = back against a wall).

Composition of the PANAMA model
- (x) elements including 1 fixed element
- 1 accordion front with an integrated French door in the narrowest element
- 1 fixed back with sliding door in the widest element
- The doors are equipped with locks with keys
- Accordion front with an overhang towards the interior of the shelter
- The height of the brushes between the folding front and the floor is 50 mm
- The height of the brushes between the fixed bottom and the ground is 50 mm
- The wheels are made of polyamide with a diameter of 100 mm. There are 8 of them per element.
- The accessories are made of A2 stainless steel or aluminum
- Anchors are made of stainless steel A2 with a diameter of M14 and a depth of 160 mm
Composition of the PANAMA model
- The anchors are fixed by a 2-component chemical sealant (epoxy)
- The anchors are provided with plugs
- The ground fasteners are made of A2 stainless steel bolts with a butterfly head
- The floor fixings of the first mobile element are provided with keys
- The side walls are provided with 4 mm SAN transparent sheets
- The roofs are equipped with translucent cellular sheets of PC (6 mm polycarbonate)
- The waterproofing between the elements is made of nylon brushes on stainless steel doseret
- The height of the first element is 2 m and is measured at the garot and inside the shelter (see plans)
- The theoretical length is always a multiple of 2.10 m. It is important to refer to the plans to see the actual dimensions, which are often greater than the theoretical dimensions.

Customization
ON SIMPLE REQUEST IT IS POSSIBLE (WITHOUT SUPPLEMENT):
- Reverse the opening direction of the enclosure by reversing the front and back
- Move the sliding door in the front and/or back
- Change the height of the brushes on the accordion front and the fixed bottom
- Raise the fixed bottom to allow it to be moved without scratching the floor (large brushes)
- Replace the translucent roofing sheets with white sheets of the OPALIN type
- Replace the brushes between the elements with black EPDM seals
Important notes
- There is a possible tolerance of 3% between the theoretical dimensions validated by the customer through the plans and the actual dimensions of the product delivered. The seller and his customer must take this into account and allow for the tolerances necessary to place the shelter without difficulty.
- The pool enclosure proposed here is equipped with a light aluminum structure that meets the French standard NF P90-309, is capable of resisting a snow load equivalent to or less than 60kg/m2. In case of snow, it is important to remove the snow from the shelter to avoid the risk of irreversible deformation.
- The system of sliding modules on wheels can in no way be considered as a hermetic building, both in terms of roofs, doors, openings, glass surfaces, between sliding elements and other junction systems.
- The customer shall ensure that the support (floor) of the pool enclosure is provided with a concrete sill of at least 15 cm thickness at the level of its runway.
In order to avoid rainwater infiltration through the floor, the customer must ensure that the slope of the tiles starts at the highest point on the inside and goes towards the outside of the enclosure. In general, a slope of 1% is considered sufficient.
